RF Connect Celebrates Vice Presidents' Day

Yesterday, in an emerging tradition, and despite the danger of random gunfire associated with vice presidents in recent days, RF Connect observed Vice Presidents' day February 17th, the  Friday before Presidents' Day. 

VP Day stems from the coincidence that both Mike McKay, VP and CTO, and Jeff Hipchen, VP Business Development, share the same birthday, February 18th.  Both men arrived fashionably late (like 8:45 AM) and left before 6:30 PM, as close to serious slacking as is possible in a startup company.  The ages of the Vice presidents was not revealed; both are considerably younger and healthier then "Duck!" Cheney.

Flogging the Blogs

How does on become productive in blogging?  I’ve been struggling with that one. Oddly enough, my best advice came from my 16 year-old who doesn't blog.  We were watching “Throw Mama from the Train” the other night.  The Billy Crystal character was struggling with writer’s block and my son said, to the TV “Darn it! Just type!  Keep typing!! You can edit it later!”

RF Connect Connects to Blogosphere

With this blog, RF Connect joins the blogosphere with several business objectives.  In no particular order, these include:

• Moving the RF Connect co-founder and CTO (me) a step closer to an MBA from the University of Michigan.
• Accelerating conversion events (registrations, dowloads, emails, phone calls, etc.) from RF Connect prospects.
• Creating an on-line discussion/user community around integrated wireless (celllular, WiFi, wireless sensors, distributed antenna systems, etc.)
• Increasing interest, expertise, and reality-based enthusiasm around wireleess networking
